LO1- 5 Examples of interactive media products

Netflix homepage- This is aimed at younger mainstreamer people as the older generation will use channels like ITV player of BBC iPlayer. Netflix allows people to watch new shows exclusively with a plethora of genres available. The purpose of this is to allow people to direct through shows to choose what they want to watch. It will come up with a description of the show when hovering over it to tell the audience what it is about so they may become interested. In addition, a lot of Netflix shows have an auto preview feature to try and intrigue the audience into watching the show. This is more common with adult films as children might get confused if they move on and something automatically pops up. People with impairments could access this product by having a screen reader to read out the description of a film. They could also listen to the preview of a film as that has audio so blind people can hear.  Netflix have to be aware of the legal and ethical issues for example the D ata P rote
